Anushiya Shrestha

Currently associated with the Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS), Anushiya Shrestha holds a Ph.D. in Social Science from Wageningen University. She has over a decade of experience in academic and action research on water governance with a focus on water insecurities, in/exclusion, and related conflict, cooperation, and adaptation under the uneven impacts of urbanization and climate change. She leads a UNESCO-TWAS and Elsevier Foundation-funded project on generating climate awareness and supporting women-led green enterprises.
