Dr. Ramdevi Tachamo Shah

Ramdevi Tachamo Shah holds Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. A Researcher at Aquatic Ecology Centre, Kathmandu University she works in the field of Freshwater Ecosystems and Biodiversity, and climate change. She has over 15 years of research experience in Nepal Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, China, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany. She is the recipient of– TWAS Young Affiliateship-2020 award for Central and South Asia. She was awarded the Science and Technology Youth Award in 2016 from the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). She has published more than three dozen research articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters, and books on aquatic diversity and water. ramdevi.env@gmail.com
